Each year, the state of South Carolina reports on our performance as a school.
E-learning policy
TPSA is an approved eLearning school. As a result, eLearning days do not need to be made up, and instruction will be delivered through Google Classroom. TPSA classes and the school office will be closed on designated eLearning days. On these days, all on-campus clubs are canceled. If athletic events are scheduled, parents should contact the team coach for details.
TPSA is committed to ensuring that eLearning days provide meaningful and purposeful learning opportunities. On an eLearning day, students are expected to:
- Meet assignment deadlines
- Engage with their assigned learning tasks
- Maintain communication with their teachers
Assignments will be posted in each teacher’s Google Classroom by 8:00 AM on the eLearning day. Students will have assignments in their ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies classes. PE, Leadership, and extension classes will not have assignments posted.
Each assignment is designed to take approximately 20–30 minutes to complete. Students will have five days to finish their assignments. After five days, any incomplete assignments will result in an unexcused absence for that class.
